Helen Kershaw

As an application scientist at CCV, Helen provides scientific programming support to researchers, helping them turn their ideas into workable code. She works closely with Oscar users to make sure their programs run optimally on the cluster.

Helen received a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Canterbury and a bachelor's degree in Geophysical Sciences from the University of Leeds. Helen has worked as a geophysicist for an airborne survey company and mostly recently as a software engineer at the National Center for Atmospheric Research for the Data Assimilation Research Testbed.
